Alwynart and the Art of SOUL PLAY

On my other blog, LEA ( click to visit it), I have all the things that I offer in terms of performing and transforming arts. I call it LEA for Living Experiential Art and also for Lifepaths, Empathy and Astrology.

That blog is in german. If anyone is interested in having any of that information in english, email me at alwynart@googlemail.com.

This blog here is more for the visual art I am doing and for poetry. There are really exciting things that I will be able to write about soon!!!!!

New Illustrations

Andreas Bunkahle is writing a new book on the tcm meridians in connection with astrology and homeopathy amongst other things. He has asked me to illustrate each one trying to capture the expression of what it is all about.

The Morrígan and the Dagda

I painted this one for Halloween. It is not finished yet. The Morrígan and the Dagda, in the story meet up once a year at Samhain time for the fertility of the land. The Dagda is the only one who can meet and hold her energy and not perish.

the Morrígan

Here is a new painting, just finished. I have been thinking about the storms hitting the world weather wise and politically and a lot of other things. It turned into this. Suddenly there was the Morrígan striding thorugh the picture! And the autumnal aspect also took me by surprise. Again all the subtle greens will have to be imagined, picasa or my camera, one or both seem to be anti-green.

The ALMOST Kiss, 2 new paintings

Posted by Picasa

Please imagine real green, real red (not brown) and normal blue (not a mixture of black and neon blue like here). The yellow was the only one my phone and blue tooth seemed to like and leave in the original...

The point of this is to look at the space BETWEEN the two paintings and see what you experience.
