The Morrígan and the Dagda

I painted this one for Halloween. It is not finished yet. The Morrígan and the Dagda, in the story meet up once a year at Samhain time for the fertility of the land. The Dagda is the only one who can meet and hold her energy and not perish.

Here is a new painting, just finished. I have been thinking about the storms hitting the world weather wise and politically and a lot of other things. It turned into this. Suddenly there was the Morrígan striding thorugh the picture! And the autumnal aspect also took me by surprise. Again all the subtle greens will have to be imagined, picasa or my camera, one or both seem to be anti-green.

I don't know know what to do about photograghing my art. We used a good camera for this and it still did what it wanted with the colors! If anyone has advice I'd be grateful. The lower corners are both blue and not black and purple, his hand is mostly a warm blue and his hair is mostly green. You'll have to imagine that. Blog readers as co-creators!

This picture grew out of a long time spent with the theme of the transformation of Mars, with the story of the transformation of the Santeria Orisha Shango, and with Archangel Chamuel. The god side says: I can assert myself in my full power without the fear that I will harm others. I learn to incorperate passion with compassion. The goddess side is saying: I can let go, go with the flow and feel submission with the trust that I will be held safely. I do not need to carry everything all the time, I too am carried.

Buchtitelblatt - book cover

I was asked to design a book cover for Andreas Bunkahle's new book Materia Medica. He is, amongst other things a homeopath, astrologer and author. He described the picture to me and wanted Cepheus, Saturn and some Aquarian qualities in it. Here are first drafts. He is looking into formatting it. I will keep you posted when the book is done. For some reason I can't convince my programme to reproduce greens, so you will have to imagine these pictures very green and not grey!

Andreas Bunkahle schreibt gerade ein Buch -Materia Medica. Das Titelblatt hatte er genau beschrieben und er wollte, dass Cepheus, Saturn und etwas Wassermann-Energie in dem Bild sind. Hier sind meine erste Entwurfe. Er wird das Endresultat formatieren. Sobald das Buch erscheint, sage ich Bescheid. Leider mag mein Program hier kein Grün, also müßen Sie sich vorstellen, dass diese Bilder sehr grün sind und nicht graugrün.

Or HAARP's weather manipulation?
Is it the seasons shifting?
The temperatures lifting?
Or Jove sifting
The wheat from the chaff?
Collecting the jewels and leaving the rougher half
to cope, - or, just for a laugh,
playing chess with our lives
seeing which one survives
which nose dives?
Are catastrophobic worries
projecting flurries?
Will it slow us down in our headless hurries?
Is it a cosmic conjuction
teaching us compunction
and how to function?
Or the End of Time?
Has it reason or rhyme?
A sublime
testing of all of our souls?
A switching of poles?
Or Trolls?
Or the Divine Wisdom teaching compassion,

I went and walked out in the night
the world was blanketed in white
the corners of the rooves were round,
snow muted every jagged sound
The world lay still
I looked my fill
Too wonderstruck to speak.
Each car, no matter what the make,
looked like a round marshmallow cake,
All people, rich, poor, young or old
turned into bundles in the cold.
All things are evened out by snow
When cars and trains and planes don't go,
like snow, we're one
beneath the sun

Signs of Summer

I got to paint some signs and a mural for Murphys Ice Cream, in Dublin this summer. They have two new shops there. One in Wicklow Street and One in Temple Bar. There was loud, live music playing in the square at Temple Bar while I painted and I took time out in between to have an affogato...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! a scoop of Murphys Ice cream with a shot of fresh espresso over it!

In diesem Sommer, konnte ich zu live-(Strassen)musik bei Murphys Ice Cream 2 Schilder und eine Wandgemälde malen. Sie haben zwei neue Läden in Dublin....in Temple Bar und in Wicklow Street. Zwischendurch habe ich Pause gemacht und affogato genossen: eine Kugel Murphys Eis mit ein Schuß Espresso drauf gegossen! Mmmmmmmmmm!

Tommorrow I will be exhibiting the following paintings at the Waldorf School in Leipzig at the Summer fair! The money will partialy be for a class trip fund, the Agwe picture's procedes will go to Haiti and the last two portraits will not be for sale. This is a series fo paintings called the Blue Mantle pictures because they are all framed in blue.

I did the first sketch with water soluble crayons and then painted with acrylic. While the paint was still wet, I splashed water on it. Then I opened the window and let fresh spring air and sunshíne get on it. My crystal hanging in the window made rainbows dance around and around the picture. I couldn't capture them with my mobile! You will have to imagine the rainbow spots flitting over it. Then, when it was dry, I meditated on it and painted the next bit. A night's sleep took place before the last one. To be continued.....

This is Agwe, the Sea Mother, goddess of plentitude, nurturing, healing, feeding and comforting.

I painted it as a prayer/meditation for the victims of the earth quake in Haiti. I am trying to sell, auction it for the Haiti rescue and relief work.

Dies ist Agwe, Meeresmutter, Göttin des Trostes, Nährung, Heilung, usw. Ich habe sie als Gebet/Meditation für die Opfer des Haitie Erdbebens. Ich versuche im Moment sie zu verkaufen um die Rettungsaktionen eine Spende bei zutragen...und habe vielleicht jemand schon. Daumen drücken!!!

This is taken with my mobile and the purples look grey and the greens are gone and the delicate rainbowy parts of the spiral didn't show. Help!! the little three-winged being is yellow, red and green and represents the human spirit. It it the point of conscious decision. i will try and find another camera and replace this when I get a better photo.

Mein Handy malte nach als ich ein Foto knipste! Das Lila ist plötzlich grau, das Grün ist verschwunden, die zarte Regenbogenfarben im Spirale sind weg. HILFE!!! Das kleine, dreiflüglige Wesen soll gelb, rot und grün sein und steht füs den Menschengeist. Dies ist der Punkt der Entscheidung in dem Bild. So bald ich eine bessere Kamera ausleihen kann werde ich das Bild neu hier einsetzen.

This is a mural on a bathroom wall over the door. I was asked to do something soothing, calming, the person likes the woods. The close-up is from below and therefore somewhat tilted. There is an owl to watch over this person and fire flies.

Ein Auftrag für eine Badezimmerwand. Es sollte beruhigend, wohltuend sein, die Person mag die Wälder. Die Nahaufnahme wurde von unten fotografiert, deswegen die Verzerrung. Eine Eule passt auf diese Person auf und im Bild sind auch Leuchtkäfer.

I have hung a pencil next to the toilet for drawing the faces I always see in the bumps. Boy do I love drawing on the walls!

At school I drew on my homework, along the margins of my notes, on the desk... it helped me listen deeper. It wasn´t smiled upon.

There´s a strange anticipation
Hovering in the humid air,
A ship, caught in horse latitudes
When the summer winds have died.

An old woman turns and tosses,
Starved for sleep yet restless still,
and a young man at his window
Loses form and wails aloud;

Swallowed up and no one hears,
Not a star shines, for the heaven´s
wrapped up in a misty shroud.

I love painting with any water-soluble paint and then splashing water on it and letting it dry over night. In the morning I look at the shapes that have appeared over night and tickle them out with more paint. I often get to know elemental beings and nature spirits this way. I connect to them inwardly and ask them about themselves and see what shows up.

This is my new Blog. I wish to use it for sharing my art/spiritual journey. I am an artistic empath and follow different directions in art. Painting, singer/songwriting, poetry, acting, astrology, storytelling, nature crafts and the sacred path of the clown are mediums that, for me are all interrelated. I use them to go my own questing path and as a guide for people who wish me to help them when they feel they are at cross roads on their own quests.
I don´t know where this will lead me, but I feel strongly that I should just begin and see what happens.
So, here goes!!

At the moment I am experimenting with water-soluble wax colours that are opening up all kinds of new possibilities!

Hier fange ich mit meinem neuen Blog an. Ich bin keine deutsche Muttersprachlerin, also bitte ich um Vergebniss wenn mein Deutsch manchmal gewagt ist. Ich bin Künstlerempath unter anderem und verbinde verschiedenste Kunstrichtungen in meiner Arbeit.
Malerei, Dichten, Komponieren, Schauspiel, Astrologie, märchhenerzählen, Basteln mit Sachen aus der Natur und vor allem der Lernweg des Herz-zentrierten Clowns sind für mich alle unzertrennlich. Ich verwende all auf meine eigere geistige Suche und verwende sie als Hilfsmitel Anderen auf ihre Suchen als Wegbegleiterin zu helfen wenn sie das Gefühl haben vorübergehend nicht mehr weiter zu wissen.

Im Moment experimentiere ich mit Wasserlöslichen Wachsfarben die mir extra Freiheiten
